Senior Web Developer (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) |
BullBearings is very much a software company and we are looking for a senior web developer to lead a small team to produce our web-based trading games, research tools and to develop new products. You will be an experienced programmer and be able to manage teams and development schedules to meet our demanding deadlines as well as taking an active role in the design and development of the games. We develop highly-scalable trading platforms for large financial companies all around the world. Therefore you will have demonstrable experience of writing effiicient, secure and scalable PHP code that produces valid XHTML client-side markup. You must have advanced knowledge of relational database design, security, and mission critical hosting in a Linux/Open Source environment.
Location London – Finsbury Square or Immediate Start.

Web Developers (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) |
BullBearings is very much a software company and we are looking for three web developers to join our busy team building our web-based trading games, research tools and to develop new products. You will have experience in writing high-quality PHP/XHTML code and preferably had formal training in software development. You will have good time management skills and have the ability to work on a number of projects at a time without compromising quality. You will report to a senior developer and have the opportunity to work on new projects as the company expands. Your coding must be logical, efficient, well structured, clearly commented, secure and above all, scalable. Additional skills that would be beneficial would be experience/knowledge of AJAX, Flash and relational databases.

Renumeration £18k-£25k per annum based on experience/location. Plus company bonus scheme.

Web/Graphic Designer |
BullBearings has an opportunity for a creative web designer with a flair for creating clean-cut modern website interfaces as well as designs for online and offline brochure style content. We produce games and training tools for a large number of clients from newspapers, media portals to investment banks. Therefore there are a large number of varying and exciting projects to be worked on. You will work closely with the technical teams and the sales teams in the company. We are flexible to your approach and the tools you use, but you will have knowledge of the limitations and practicalities of HTML based design. Additional skills that would be beneficial would be experience/knowledge of HTML and CSS design.
