| COMPANY PROFILE: Gas giant BOC Group started out in the 1880's when the Brin Brothers started developing the use of oxygen for commercial reasons. In 1906 the group was renamed British Oxygen Company, and now has interests all over the world. BOC's revenues are generated fairly equally between its European, American and Asia-Pacific operations, with most of its revenues coming from its Process Gas and Industrial divisions. Its Edwards business supplies gases to semiconductor manufacturers. |
